Weekend Reading

I have some GREAT posts to share with you this week!

Monday

10 Things to Make Happen in March – The Fitnessista. Gina had me at #1 (buy some fresh flowers) and kept me going with salads and staycations.

 Unplugged – Love Life Surf. An update on how Christine did with “unplugging” for 24 hours. Kudos to her because I am not sure I could fully go without technology!

The Real Cost of Cheap Food – Fit to the Finish. This post goes WAY beyond the monetary cost of cheap food. I love that she points out how most of the time any packaged food labeled “natural” is anything BUT natural!

TUESDAY

Healthy Brownie Recipe – Brad Gouthro. This recipe is sugar free AND Gluten free….oh, and it looks delicious!  I am definitely bookmarking this one!

10 Crunchy Chip Alternatives – Bite Size Wellness.  I love things that are crunchy.  Especially when you can make them yourself without the added crap of the bagged stuff!

WEDNESDAY

lady lazarus and the terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day – The Year of the Phoenix. I LOVE Jill’s blog and this is why – she is soooo honest with the struggles of losing weight & keeping it off.  Read this post now….don’t wait until the weekend!

THURSDAY

Pistachio Ice Cream – The Live-In Kitchen. Milk & I don’t always get along, but a recipe like this makes me want to risk it!!  You all know how I love pistachios {49 every single day}

Nutrasweet in Milk without Labels? – Whole New Mom. A GREAT post not JUST about milk labeling, but also about not always believing the first thing you read regarding a hot topic.

FRIDAY

Beer Battered Shrimp Lettuce Wraps with Mango Avocado Salsa – How Sweet It Is. 2 things about Jessica – 1. If I made all the recipes of hers that I loved, you’d have to roll me out of the house every morning. 2. I LOVE her love for using caps and exclamation points to express her feelings. I can’t think of ANYONE else who does that!!!!

Well, there you have it!  Hope that this weekend finds you unwinding with those you love the most.  The only 2 MUSTS I have on my calendar are TRX and Costco shopping.
