Weekend Reading

I probably follow close to half a million blogs {I MIGHT be exaggerating} and every week there are a handful of posts that make me think “I wish my readers could read this!”

Problem solved!

Welcome to my first installment of Weekend Reading, where I share with you guys the blog posts that made me think, laugh and drool on my keyboard!

Sunday Food Prep Inspiration – The Lean Green Bean. Lindsay is one of my favorite bloggers & she has gathered food prep tips from all around the blogesphere to inspire us all!  You know I am all about weekly food prep, so look here for food ideas!

Pregnant at Fourteen – Miles to Run Wow!  I cried while reading this post.  Debra is an amazing woman who is such an inspiration.

Sun-Dried Tomato Meatballs – Kath Eats Real Food.  I’m a HUGE fan of Kath and her balance of food {she’s also a fellow beer lover}.  This is a great recipe I want to make ASAP!

Avoiding the Comparison Trap – Katy Widrick Katy is the blogger you go to for inspiration for fitness & social media.  She seems to do it all!  🙂  Here’s her vlog about not comparing yourself to others. And there’s a cameo from her precious baby girl.  😉

Pumpkin Protein Crepes – Little B’s Healthy Habits.  You know I LOVE pumpkin year round and this recipe is calling my name as a healtier treat!

Almond Breeze Oatmeal Breakfast Bake – fANNEtastic Food  Gluten Free & full of flavor!  I’m already dreaming of the fruit I could add to this!  🙂

Cyber Thievery – McGSquared. My husband had his seperate checking account raided by someone who joined 3 adult dating sites.  Here’s how he felt about it. ps – I’m still not quite convinced that these weren’t his own charges.  😉

Homemade Aromatherapy Muscle Soak – Erica House. Love this post on why muscle soaks are good for you AND a recipe on how to make them yourself {or for your favorite person, if that is me}!

National Day of Unplugging – Love Life Surf.  Christine has such a great perspective of life in general, so major props to her for taking part of this!  I will pledge to not be so social media obsessed from Friday night to Saturday night, but I’m not quite ready to take the full plunge.  😉

Foodie Penpals – The Lean Green Bean. Oh, besides studying to become an RD and CrossFit, Lindsay also runs the Foodie Penpal program which rocks!!  Read this post to find out how you can be a part of it!

That’s it for this week, my friends!  I really hope you enjoy reading these as much as I did!

This weekend, Gary & I are going to check out some new premium outlets in Livermore.  I’m on the lookout for a new gym bag & yoga mat…I’m sure I’ll find neither, yet still spend some money.  😉
